James Lingard
James Lingard was a leading City of London solicitor who specialised in banking law and insolvency.
He became Chairman of the Banking Law Sub Committee of the City of London Law Society and held that position for nine years until he retired. He is the original author of Lingard's Bank Security Documents now in its 5th edition.
A former Council Member of the Association of Business Recovery Professionals and of the European Association of Insolvency Practitioners, he became a Judicial Chairman of the Insolvency Practitioners Tribunal.
He was also the founding President of the Insolvency Lawyers Association and became Chairman of the Joint Insolvency Examination Board and of the Insolvency Law Sub Committee of the City of London Law Society.
